Rosie is an inveterate country-skipper. Born in London, she has since lived in Sri Lanka, Ireland and Spain. She has worked in a language school, an insurance company, a software firm, an old people’s home and a Buddhist monastery (where she introduced the “hokey kokey”). She has degrees in English Literature and Psychology, an addiction to Kettle Chips and a laugh that could shatter glass. She currently resides in Madrid, where she has been living, working and speaking terrible Spanish for the last 7 years.
Katie is the confirmed Londoner gone awry. She spent her 20s travelling the world, volunteering and running amok in London. In London she worked as a fundraiser, organised charity events and helped to launch the Youth Funding Network. She has a degree in English Literature and a Post Grad Diploma in Marketing. In 2011, in search of new worlds and horizons (and jamon iberico), she moved to Madrid where she has now lived and worked for 2 years.
Gus is a lost cause (having run away from “paradise”). Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Canary Islands, Spain, Gus studied Computer Sciences before moving to Mallorca for a Masters in Computer Animation. With the new millennium, he emigrated to London to work and stayed there long enough to consider himself a Londoner. Then it was time to move halfway-home and started living all over the mainland: Santiago de Compostela, Barcelona, Burgos... before settling for a few years in Madrid. Gus considers himself citizen of the world and keeps teasing his kids with the prospect of a nomad life on 5 year cycles. Who knows what life will bring next. For now, he’s content helping others skipping the country and ranting away on his personal blog.
